Book Exchange (Oct 4th)

Taking a break from posting Haiti photos, here's more from Portland.
A very Portland idea, too.
People can leave books in the mail box or pick up books out of the mail box for free. A great way to share good reads with our neighbors.

Snapped these from my bike on the way home.

albina press art (july 1st)

Albina Press, one my favorite coffee houses to frequent outside of the Dragonfly has some sweet artwork on the walls outside. Random quotes painted/collaged on wood. I just love it.

broadway bridge (june 29th)

I try and stop on the Broadway Bridge on my way to or home from work when I'm biking. Bridges are just cool in general. Yep. Guess it's a good thing I live in the city of bridges.

Steel Bridge (February 14th)

Happy Valentine's Day
I always think old antique-y pictures are so romantic looking so that's what I'll give you for the V-day post.
Another shot from my bike on the Broadway Bridge.

Fremont Bridge (Feb 13th)

Due to car troubles, I've been riding my bike to and from work and it's been so refreshing. I love the time I have to gear up or wind down for or from work. It's not a tough ride and I love the energy I get from the thirty-some minute bike ride.
I like to stop on the Broadway Bridge on the way to or from work because it's just so darn beautiful.

a do run run (Jan 8th)

It was a gorgeous afternoon in portland today. I could have gone running. I would have been so proud of myself if I had, but I did not. I went for a long stroll along the waterfront with my camera and got the same adrenaline rush and endorphins that follow a good run.

Portland, OR (Jan 24th)

Totally didn't take a picture on the 24th.
So this here is my stand-in from the 23rd.
Portland is pretty.
I took this with my friend Will's awesome wide angle lens. I definitely have lens envy and hope to get this one eventually(17-40mm, f/4L).
Follow Will's photo blog; you'll be in for a treat.
