Easy Street (Dec 23rd)
B (Dec 22nd)
My little cousin Brian is getting married this summer. I'm thrilled for him and Jen to start a new adventure together. And they are perhaps one of the cutest couples out there (see second photo). I had to include that first photo purely for a little hilarity. We were re-enacting a photo my cousin took of Brian in Spokane that was clearly a scenic shot until brian stuck his head into the corner of the picture. Oh, good times.

childlike faith (Dec 21st)
They say that I can move the mountains
And send them crashing into the sea
They say that I can walk on water
If I would follow and believe
with faith like a child
Sometimes, when I feel miles away
and my eyes can't see your face
I wonder if I've grown to lose the recklessness
I walked in light of you
They say that love can heal the broken
They say that hope can make you see
They say that faith can find a Savior
If you would follow and believe
with faith like a child .
- Jars of Clay
I feel like children have a faith that you can see on their faces.
It's beautiful.

Christmas ornaments (Dec 19th)
I love Christmas trees. If there is one nearby, I'll be sitting by it.
One of my customers was telling me about her little girl, Harper and how they other morning she came downstairs at 5am to find her daughter wide awake and just quietly watching the tree. It's so sweet. If I didn't have the hardest time waking up early, that would be me, too.
