My nephew Cy is growing up.

I loved that we got to capture this little guy and his grandmother.

She was so sweet and let us take a bunch of pictures of them both.

We came back later and snapped some of the mother and son. I'll have to edit and post those soon for you all to see.

I love the lighting in these and I love how strong and sweet this woman was.

I took this family's picture last September when I was in Haiti. We ran into them again and I was thrilled to hear that they received their portrait print from Nancy and they wanted to take more pictures! We gladly took a few more. They have a family of six or seven but I liked this candid of the father and son while we were rounding up the rest of the kiddos.

B (Dec 22nd)

My little cousin Brian is getting married this summer. I'm thrilled for him and Jen to start a new adventure together. And they are perhaps one of the cutest couples out there (see second photo). I had to include that first photo purely for a little hilarity. We were re-enacting a photo my cousin took of Brian in Spokane that was clearly a scenic shot until brian stuck his head into the corner of the picture. Oh, good times.

My nephew makes up songs and jingles all the time.

I think he'll be a musician or a songwriter.

But boy did I absolutely love watching home videos of this kid at previous holiday years ago with his hilarious attitude. I love home videos. They are so embarrassing but there's nothing you can do, but laugh. a lot.
