How He Loves
My friend, Stephanie played this song for me last week while we were talking over coffee and breakfast. I thought the song was so beautiful and moving. I had forgotten about the song until it was sang at my friend Sara's wedding during communion. I can't get over how beautiful this song is and how it describes how powerfully, deeply and unconditionally God loves us.
"If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking."

Rainy Day Reading (Aug 31st)
I picked up this treasure of a book last night at Palace of Industry, the fantastic new cafe/vintage shop that just opened up down the street. My roommate, Karyn texted me yesterday telling me how awesome this place was and that I had to go and so I did and I absolutely loved it. I'll let Karyn tell you about it though, she wrote all about it and her writing is just lovely.
Ice Cream Happiness (Aug 30th)
I was at the grocery store last night, craving some ice cream. I was looking at the fancy pints of ice-cream when out of the corner of my eye I spotted the Tillamook ice-cream, on sale, for $2.99, that's cheaper than a fancy pint and like four times the amount. Score.
I took it home and opened it to find those two oval sunglasses imprinted on the ice-cream, and so with the swift swoop of my spoon, created a smiley face.
Happy Ice-Cream.
